Static IP on Android

Wireless Network

To set a static IP address with a wireless network on an Android device (such as the Mesa 3 Android, Allegro 3, and Archer 3), 

  1. Swipe from the top of the screen, and then tap and hold the Wi-Fi icon.

  1. Tap the Settings (gear) icon for the Wi-Fi connection.

  1. Tap the Modify (pencil) icon.

  1. Tap Advanced options.

  1. In IP Settings, select Static.

  1. Enter the static IP address and other settings.

  2. Tap Save.

Ethernet Connection

To set a static IP address with an ethernet connection on an Android device (such as the Mesa 3 Android),

  1. Open Settings and tap Network & internet.

  2. Tap Advanced.

  1. Tap Ethernet.

  1. Tap Use static IP.


  2. Enter the static IP address and other settings.

  1. Tap Connect.

Note: You cannot set a static IP address with an ethernet connection on an Allegro or Archer 3 device.
