17 Sep 2015

Logan, UT Rugged handheld computer manufacturer, Juniper Systems, is holding a free webinar on September 24th, where they will demonstrate how to use their new SnowGage system to easily collect real-time snow depth data and improve ski resort operations.

Juniper Systems’ SnowGage system works by transmitting real-time snow depth data directly from the sensor to the snow groomer operator, as well as to operations managers in the office, allowing for faster and more informed decision making.

In the webinar, Juniper Systems will demonstrate how to:

“SnowGage is an affordable system that provides immediate visibility into snow conditions throughout the resort,” said Trevor Brown, Juniper Systems’ Natural Resources Market Manager. “Using SnowGage, snow groomer operators can view real-time snow depths, which allows grooming decisions to be made on the slope. Simultaneously, snow depths are mapped with GPS and sent automatically to a resort’s unique website, enabling mountain operations and snow-making staff to focus resources on the areas that need it most, thereby cutting down on time and costs.”
