Windows Mobile Field PCs
It is recommended to connect the Windows Mobile Field PC to a desktop PC using the USB full-to-mini cable that came as an accessory with the Field PC.
If you want to connect to Microsoft ActiveSync through a serial cable, you must have a "CE" compatible RS-232 NULL Modem serial cable such as the following:

Windows CE Field PCs (older Allegros)
It is recommended to purchase a USB/Power Dock for the Allegro CX Field PC and Allegro CE Field PC models for connecting through USB instead of serial cable.
