Juniper Systems to Host Fisheries Webinar on Custom Fisheries Apps

17 Apr 2014

Logan, UT — Juniper Systems is hosting an upcoming webinar for fisheries professionals on April 24th. The webinar— Low-Cost Software Options for Custom Fisheries Apps—will describe how fisheries professionals can significantly improve their data collection processes using inexpensive software with Juniper Systems’ rugged handhelds.

In the webinar, Juniper Systems’ Natural Resources specialists will demonstrate a low-cost software that enables users to build custom fisheries data collection forms without any programming. These custom forms means getting rid of the old paper-and-pen method of data collection and moving to a more efficient, more secure way of collecting data. Juniper Systems’ handhelds have an ultra-rugged design, are RFID-compatible, dustproof & waterproof, and feature displays that are easy to read in bright sunlight, making them an ideal tool for fisheries data collection.

“Fisheries professionals have a lot of repetitive data that needs to be collected, which can be extremely time-consuming using paper and pen,” said Trevor Brown, Natural Resources Market Manager at Juniper Systems. “In this webinar, we’re going to show several fisheries examples that demonstrate how easy it is to transition from pen and paper to an efficient custom form on a Juniper Systems handheld. The great thing about this software is that it’s very inexpensive and you can create custom forms with absolutely no programming, so anyone can do it.”

Webinar spots are limited and are filling up fast. Register for the webinar here: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/325285296.
