A minimum of one year warranty coverage comes standard with all of our rugged computer products. We also provide additional purchased options for extending the warranty coverage. The main benefits of our purchased extended warranty options include:

 

  • Warranty coverage can be purchased to last up to an unprecedented five years from the original ship date.
  • Expedited repairs at no additional charge.
  • Replacement of worn and/or damaged parts at no additional charge.
  • Loaner or replacement product at no additional charge.

The Platinum plan offers comprehensive coverage. If your Field PC breaks, it is fixed no questions asked.

Extended Warranty Comparison

This plan extends and enhances your standard product warranty. The Gold plan’s rapid response repair insures that your handheld is in working order within 3 days. If you are looking for quick turn with fixed maintenance costs at the most economical price, this plan is for you.The Gold plan includes:

  • Expedite 3-Day: Repairs are expedited so that they are returned within three business days of when they are received on our dock.
  • Full Functional Evaluation: When your handheld needs service, our technicians run a sequence of tests to determine if any parts are approaching their wearable life cycle and recommend how you can extend the operational life of your handheld.
  • Parts and Labor: This service covers both parts and labor for defects in material or workmanship. It is an extension of the same warranty that you have when you purchase the product. See standard warranty terms for details.
  • Hardware Modifications: There are times when design changes occur to enhance handheld operation, engineers may recommend modifications to existing product. These modifications are included in the Gold plan.ware and OS Updates: Firmware and operating system updates are included in the Gold plan.

The Platinum plan is a simple, long-term service and support plan that covers everything that might happen to your Field PC while using it in extreme conditions. It provides total peace of mind. If it breaks, it is fixed. No questions asked.The Platinum plan includes:

  • All Gold Warranty Features
  • Accident Coverage: In the event of an accident during normal use, we will repair or replace your handheld. You break it, we replace it (one time replacement per warranty year).
  • Expedite 1-day: Repairs are expedited so that they are returned within one business day of when they are received on our dock. If we are unable to return your product within 1-day, you will have an option to receive a loaner unit.
  • Service Loaner: If you cannot be without your handheld for even one day, we will send you a loaner unit to use while we service or repair yours.
  • Wearable Parts: It is normal for some parts to wear out over time. We will replace these parts regardless of whether the part is damaged or worn out.
  • Free Data Recovery: This service is your best defense in data recovery when your handheld is damaged beyond repair. Every attempt is made to recover your data.
  • Extended Life Premium Screen Protectors: With every repair service, we provide premium touchscreen protectors to help protect your investment and keep your screen looking new during field use.

An Extended Warranty Program can be purchased with any new Archer or Allegro Field PC, or it can be purchased later as long as the order is placed within the product`s standard 1-year warranty period.

An Extended Warranty Program can be purchased for a product that is currently out of warranty only if the product is still within 5-years from the original shipment date. The currently out of warranty product must also be returned on a Repair (RMA) Order for warranty certification by an authorized repair technician. In this case, an Extended Warranty Program can only be purchased for the number of years remaining within the 5-years from the original shipment date.
